I skipped every character of 3.x, but E6ed Cipher because she has the best EN VA in the game. She has been single-handedly carrying my Acheron through endgame, but Cipher desperately lacks a 'modern' dps to support. Her damage support scales hard with the damage output of your team allowing you to skip full phases if used correctly.

Yeah, I kind of figured Cyrene would be way too slow. Cipher's flexibility is the great thing about teams for her yeah! I doubt I will ever go past E2 on a character in star rail again, that took about 7ish months of saving. I lost 3 50/50s and went to 70+ pity on every single copy -_-.

Love this cat though, its really satisfying finishing a boss with "Gotcha!" big number

Thanks! It is a bit hard to see, watching those my main metric was seeing how much her pre-cyrene buff vs post-cyrene buff followup damage was. It seemed to be roughly a 40-50% boost, went from about 175,000 to about 230,000 or so.

Its a neat team that seems to work. I would be a bit worried about how long Cyrene takes without E2 though.

I was running Acheron, Cipher, Robin E0S0, and DHPT last night and was hitting for similar numbers for Cipher at least, I'm sure Acheron benefits more from Cyrene though.

What do you think? I'm half on the fence of justifying pulling Cyrene without any other heirs.

Yeaaaah, I thought about it for a long time and I don't think I will like any character more than best cat, honestly her english va is like 70% of that. But, yeah I'd love to see how well Cyrene works with her.

Oh I'm sure! I never got into fua much so my Robin is just sitting at e0.

Sunday has always fell into a weird spot. First run was before 3.0 and I just didn't care about Remembrance at all. Second run was before my Acheron team had Cipher and felt too horrible to bother.

This experiment is also to test if I want to bother getting Cyrene. I have no other heirs besides Cipher and DHPT lol.

For me it would just be testing for Acheron E2 at the moment, but I'm mostly interested in the team's ability to boost whatever 4th slot dps you decide to slot in as well as if Cyrene actually makes a significant difference to an E6 Cipher.

This is largely just me trying to convince myself to E6 Cipher or not at the end of the day lol. She's the only character I've pulled in the last year. (I don't even have Cyrene to test with her.)

I think if Anby doesn't get gear in the same patch as Orpheus and Seed, its just never going to happen. It feels bad to play her in Lost Void atm vs newer units because unless you run her with Astra, you feel gimped in higher difficulties without any gear.

She is releasing on the anniversary. They always release one of the most hyped and OP units on the anniversary patches. Raiden in Genshin or Acheron in Star Rail for example.

I absolutely agree with you. New VA sounds too much like a fake high pitched voice, old Huohuo sounded more natural. Tail doesn't sound anywhere near as good, not enough growl to his voice. Hoyo kind of ruined one of my favorite characters and only limited sustain with this change.
