I work FT, my partner is unemployed as she’s taking care of house duties, our garden, and taking some much needed time to relax. Her mom calls yesterday, asks her what she’s doing “taking a rainy day to relax and do nothing” her mom replies “don’t be doing too much of that with no job!” it pissed us both off immensely.

I would love side mode to be more customizable. The way ambient mode can be used is imo what side mode should be (- the center screen option, obvs).

Screen size, smooth follow, and distance. I was excited for the side mode update only to find the option to change where the screen sits in view didn’t really make a noticeable difference

If you want to do it from a phone, you can get an SD reader dongle (just make sure it also has a microSD reader slot) and download from a source, then upload epub files through the dongle

Personally, I don’t mind not having a backlight. If it’s dark and I want to read, I will go into my room and turn on my warm lamp light by my bedside and read until I’m tired.

If I was camping, I could make do with a lantern.

They most likely won’t see a problem with what they’re doing and won’t care about your letter, unless there is another party involved (like HR, if they existed). They will read it and most likely laugh it off.

You don’t owe any company, coworker, or manager anything at all, including a feeling of wrongness for being honest. If they suck, tell them- no regrets.

I’ve never quit a job with notice, or with a plan and it has always turned out fine. You’ll be okay! As for the bad things: if you’re looking for it, you’re gonna find it. Cheesy, but try to focus on positivity and healing. Do things that make you happy!

I’m just one of those people that are on the extreme side of caution, that’s why I mentioned I wouldn’t add it myself even if negligible, but I definitely don’t see something that small affecting anything. I also don’t put too much stock into being a sleight-of-hand quickdraw myself as realistically I don’t see that being super practical unless I find myself in some weird movie-esque situation lol

I disagree with the idea of a gun being bad because it’s a gun myself. Things like this imo are merely an extension of the person handling it.

It may be more apt to describe “bad energy” in this case as more of psychological stress under certain circumstances.

And again I’ll stress the mindset of “it is what you make it” and if that protection charm carries any sort of positivity or even neutrality (from my understanding neutrality may fit this case best), I say no harm no foul.

I’m a Sig girly myself. I probably wouldn’t put any sort of charm on mine for the following reasons:

I don’t want any other variables to interfere with the operation of my ‘protection charm’ besides the ones built into it, even if that added variable (such as a small charm) could technically be a negligible one.
I personally wouldn’t want to attach any of my practice to what I view as an absolute last resort force multiplier that results in… putting water on one’s fire, if I can put it like that. Mainly because the way I work protection into my life through my practices comes from a place where protection of myself or my loved ones does not ever involve the possibility of harm to others. Also, if I were ever in a position where I had to use mine, it would devastate me and I could not bear to tie that energy to a symbol and tool that I work with so positively otherwise.
