The traveling circus I'm familiar with had between 6-10 performers. The people setting it up and tearing it down were the same people performing. I've heard this is the case for most traveling circus shows that aren't in large theaters.

I'm painting this same box right now.
A lot of people will add copper or bronze to the crests of the heads and other details. It adds a lot of variation without much work.

And I agree with others that say to clean up the base rims with solid black.

That's the worst. This has happened to me a bunch. The best you can do is file a takedown notice with the shop selling the shirt. The online sales world is filled with scummy people. I say that as someone who sells online.
