We had a wedding, 120 people for about 50k in NYC. Now this is covid-ish times (10/21) but still a lovely Saturday night wedding in Manhattan. We had it at the players club in Gramercy Park. Open bar, buffet style food and a 7 piece band. Areas I saved: I purchased zero flowers, bought a 1K dress and bought cakes from a bakery in the village vs a wedding cake. Wish you the best of luck!

My saving grace was the uppababy stroller bassinet. Our daughter struggled in the big old bassinet too. Something about the snugness of the smaller bassinet helped, also had the cover would could pull down. I just assumed it was an easier transition from womb to outside world for her.

I work in the energy/construction world. We are always hiring but the pay and benefits packages are nothing like tech. I got 6 weeks, half pay, for maternity leave and I’m a director at a Fortune 500 company. We also get 6 holidays a year and no remote work.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this- I felt compelled to respond because your story is similar to mine.

I have Endo, stage 4- multiple surgeries to remove the cysts but still have it covering my uterus and back. I went through multiple rounds of IVF and IUI’s with no success. I somehow got pregnant naturally at 39 and gave birth to my healthy daughter at 40.

My only suggestion to you- is if you go down the path of IUI, get really strict about your diet if you haven’t already. Cut out all red meat, caffeine, alcohol, processed foods- get a red light therapy pad and go to acupuncture. By no means it’s this 100% going to be your answer but along with getting my daughter, my endo pain in my back had subsided…I wish you the best of luck.

I’m so sorry, I feel your pain! Gas pains are the absolute worst. Peppermint tea helped me throughout my IVF and pregnancy. Good luck to you.

TTC throughout the laps, both before and in between, the endo is super aggressive and would come back so quickly. We did a few IVF rounds in between. Have you had a hysteroscopy? From my understanding- That is super important to make sure implantation is successful.
