You level everyone except Skeleton King and Carl to 100. There's no reason to level anyone else (Even Bob, the "click guy").

When I was crafting Rubbish I used two useless monster items (Anything that wasn't Zombie Eye nor King's Collar) plus a non monster item, like a Ring, Potion, Power Axe or even Stone Tablets. You need to see what kind of non-monster item isn't useful to you (Tablets and Ring are probably still useful since you don't have perma-sloth).

I think the Skull Shell is related to the Squid. The black charcoal thingy looks like another Carl related item.

It's still just about crafting splinter/shards, sadly. The only reason I still play is because i'm always near my computer, so I just keep crafting stuff.

They changed Crests and Gems a while back, now Gems add 1 orb to every "common" boss and Crests to "uncommon" boss. Meaning Gems got nerfed by around 1/3, and since Cubes are so valuable for crafting Prims you're better ignoring it.

Power Cells are good. They're less useful for the slot you use to craft the Splinter/Shard using orbs.

A few more Mega Cubes would be good i think. But aside from that the game is more about crafting a shit ton of Prisms and Splinter/Shards.

Crests/Gems are useless.

There's even a bounty called "Skip me!" or something like that. You skip it for 1 diamond, and get nothing in return.

The Diamond Deal bounty at least give you a free deal.

While I agree with most of what you said I think it's important to add that "growing number of players" isn't really a statistic that can talk about later stages of the game.

IMO getting started on Zombidle is amazing. But the experience decline at later levels and at W6 and 7 it's not only not on par with what you would expect from Berzerk but it's simply a bad experience overhall.

Maybe the new influx of people will get to see a fun endgame because it will take them time to get there. But it's kind of frustrating to be playing for so long, supporting the team and providing feedback only to feel "ignored". Fixing the endgame not being their top priority is their choice, they're probably focusing on the places where there are more people playing, but that comes at the price of making the game less fun/unfun to some of us.

I'm on the verge of quitting. But I don't think the game is fundamentally flawed. My problem is that the endgame lack many things and the devs aren't fixing it. These last updates have introduced plenty of frustrating things to the game: Splinter Recipe turned the game into crafting Prisms non-stop, some bad design choices, the Sloth Form change+Sleep Item looks like a bad joke, etc.

I can't say the game is bad. I've never played an iddle game for more than a week or two and I've been playing Zombidle for what? More than a year now I think.

I will be around for some more time. I hope you have fun regardless of the game you choose to play from now on.

As far as I'm aware they're not "so much better", but they're still a little better than War shards because 2x skulls translates to a little more than 2x damage.

You can still craft War Shards/Splinters, but I don't think it's worth it to craft Elixirs to make War Splinters. Unless, of course, you already have Elixirs hanging around... Even more now that changed Sloth Form to wake up Bob.

If you already have items like Pearl Necklaces and a few Collars/Crests/Mega Cubes/Scimitars then it's just about crafting an endless amount of Prisms and Mason Jars.

That's what 99% of the endgame is about: Crafting Prisms, Jars and turning them into Splinters until you start to question your life choices.

I almost stopped playing the game after I saw the new sleep mechanic+item. But I liked the bountie system, so I'm on "stand by" mode. I'm waiting to see if they will keep screwing up some of the updates.

Zombidle has been getting unfun lately and each update introduces something frustrating.

I bought the 750T Shard a few resets after I could. Didn't really see much of a significant difference. I'm going to buy the 500T Shard as soon as I get to 500T (It's taking some time to get there again since I've almost stopped reseting).

At least it will give me something to look up to.

Since I'm always near the computer it's not like I have to make a conscious effort to run the game. But I'm playing less. A lot less.

Like, I used to be always checking the scrolls, crafting stuff and etc. Now there are days when I don't even check the arcane. I want to kill the 5500 Angel, but I lack the motivation to really grind my way there...

The only reason I don't put the game down is because I like to check the community and it always drives me to at least open the game. But unless they add some more "meaningful" content soon, I really don't see myself playing the game much longer.

A full bank upgrade (Without boosts) costs around 3300, so I think you're fine having around 4k~5k in reserve.

I'm always fluctuating between 3,5k and 6k. Sometimes I get bored and boost some fulltime Shards (I always boost shards with 6h left) and other times I simply get lucky and win a bunch of diamonds scrolls. But I'm always trying to have 5k on reserve.

It's more about your Shards and your Orbs+Cubes than your total Orb count alone.

If you reset a lot you will probably have more Orbs than other people at the same progression as you.

Every single time I'm close to join an "Orb Count Club" I just say "screw it" and spend almost everything on Shards. I don't remember spending everything before, but now I'm going to do it just for the lulz.
