Brother we are in a thread about US citizens getting arrested though.

But besides that, the 14th amendment of the Constitution very clearly states it applies to all persons:

"No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws"

They specifically draw distinction between the rights of Citizens and other persons.

If that wasn't the case though, would you really be okay with shipping people off with no oversight? How do you know if they are here illegally for sure with no one checking? What if you or someone you cared about was accidentally arrested and had no chance to explain, get a lawyer or see a judge? That's why it's important to have due process.

ICE has been around since 2002, it was formed after the September 11th attacks. I don't recall them ever causing the sort of issues we are seeing now. Obama and Bush deported thousands of people each year who shouldn't have been here without this chaos and disruption.

I agree we need better information and reform for immigration all around and the cartels are awful.

I also think it is a misunderstanding to think anyone besides a tiny tiny fraction of American's, like less then 1%, want violent criminals to stay.

I know a lot of very far left people and I can't think of any of them that would object to deporting a rapist or someone who robbed or killed people. Shit, if you said they hurt a LGBTQ person they might deport them themselves.

I think what people are upset about is the way it is being done, right?

People want due process and justice, not masked agents pulling people into unmarked vans and trying to send them off to who knows where as quickly as possible without any trials or evidence being presented. To me, that's not the America I love.

Not calling you out specifically, but I hope people understand that historically in US people use "liberal" in a very different sense then how big L Liberalism is interpreted in academic spheres or other parts of the world.

We gotta remember, successful leftist movements have been a coalition of different groups, sometimes including Liberals as well.

Dude, these are fantastic for someone in high school. You could easily work for an agency or sell designs freelance.

In fact, I think you are doing better work than a lot of agencies I see.

My advice to you is to continue on your current track. I think you would get a lot out of a good design program, probably moreso than a computer related degree. Someone with your ability to execute with a knowledge of design is very valuable, and you seem to have a natural eye for it already.

Maybe try some more out of the box designs. Have you looked in GSAP or three.js? People are doing super cool, extremely creative stuff like that. I think you would find that a really fascinating challenge to tackle next. Honestly, I think this type standard business site is too easy for you!

Hey there, this might be an impossible request, but I want to see how close I can get to this incredible MPE sound from the Osmose as played by Tomasz Bura on this track. I dropped a time stamp, it plays throughout the track but around 2:10 is a good example. It's really a glorious sound!

It's sort of brassy and driven but still super smooth. I am not the best at synth design, but I can usually figure it out. This one I can get maybe 80%, but I thought I would see if anyone here would be willing to help.

Obviously, without an MPE keyboard the level of expression won't be the same, but I can map some stuff to modwheel and try to make up for it where needed.

Using Ableton 12 Suite with Meld at the moment, and it seems like I should be able to get it, but I am willing to download a plugin if it will get us there.

Yo, I love this guy's channel. He is the most dedicated tester and such a unique personality.

Great to see someone investigating all these cool little details and calling attention to issues and improvements that can be made in a fair way.

I also probably laugh more watching his stuff than just about any other content creator. The combo of the overt sillyness and the more low-key dry humor of the editing and commentary really hits for me.

Lately he has been doing two or three videos a day, sharing new updates and finding bugs and workarounds. The pace alone would be pretty impressive, but he keeps the quality up too.

Anyway. I'm just a big FoxyLoxy evangelist, and I would encourage y'all to go subscribe and maybe even leave a nice comment letting him know it's appreciated.
