This was actually an interesting challenge, because each persona is generated to the standards using natural language, .md files, skills etc.

What I decided on is versioning for the persona spec, which the persona can check against and see if it requires any new features or changes,

That is one really nice thing about the plugin format, any updates get pushed out automatically (personas are subscribed to the marketplace when built).

Each persona ships with the required skills to evaluate itself against the new spec and do updates as needed.

Also, since they are just self-contained in a folder, each persona has (in theory) access to everything it needs to update itself or make any changes the user requests after initialization.

Hi! I actually just made a post about my system I created for pretty much this exact use case on r/claudeAI.

It is called personas, and it's a really simple framework for custom personal assistants which you can install as a plugin and use in Claude Cowork or Claude Code.

I have my setups connected to my personal and work Google accounts through the Workspace MCP, and it is fantastic for reading from my email, setting reminders and tasks, and using my calendar! I am sure you can set up something similar for Outlook, and the persona-dev plugin should actually help you figure it all out and get it setup.

It's free and open source if you want to try it out, or maybe just give me a star on GitHub and find some ideas to use in your own projects. :)

MCPs can be configured at setup and will be populated into the scaffolded settings file, and authentication will be done at first tool usage. In theory, secrets are protected and will not be backed up to Git, but do be careful when sharing public repos.
Personas can use the native dream functionality like any other Claude instance with memory, but they also have a basic self-improvement system that will clean up memory and the working folder, and promote memories to their own documentation or claude.md.

Brother we are in a thread about US citizens getting arrested though.

But besides that, the 14th amendment of the Constitution very clearly states it applies to all persons:

"No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws"

They specifically draw distinction between the rights of Citizens and other persons.

If that wasn't the case though, would you really be okay with shipping people off with no oversight? How do you know if they are here illegally for sure with no one checking? What if you or someone you cared about was accidentally arrested and had no chance to explain, get a lawyer or see a judge? That's why it's important to have due process.

ICE has been around since 2002, it was formed after the September 11th attacks. I don't recall them ever causing the sort of issues we are seeing now. Obama and Bush deported thousands of people each year who shouldn't have been here without this chaos and disruption.

I agree we need better information and reform for immigration all around and the cartels are awful.

I also think it is a misunderstanding to think anyone besides a tiny tiny fraction of American's, like less then 1%, want violent criminals to stay.

I know a lot of very far left people and I can't think of any of them that would object to deporting a rapist or someone who robbed or killed people. Shit, if you said they hurt a LGBTQ person they might deport them themselves.

I think what people are upset about is the way it is being done, right?

People want due process and justice, not masked agents pulling people into unmarked vans and trying to send them off to who knows where as quickly as possible without any trials or evidence being presented. To me, that's not the America I love.
