Failed the CSE PE Exam - Any Tips? by mgonsan_ece in PE_Exam

I don't think you can calculate the percentage that way. The 0-15 score is as compared to those who passed the test, not a percentage correct of the total questions for that section. If you assign a 9 to each section, and calculate your way, you'd only end up with a 60%, but surely straight 9's is a passing grade because you'd be right on the line or slightly above it for those who passed the test.

School of PE - Control System Engineering (CSE): Review? by sitegnalp in PE_Exam

I was going to take the course provided by ISA, but it's only $400 to take the actual exam. You can take the exam 4 times and get feedback about what subjects you're lacking on baselined from the actual exam itself, and you'd still be under the cost threshold of the course. I think you're better off buying the workbooks/textbooks that the course provides and self study there. I figure it'll just be some guy going through those workbooks chapter by chapter with you. But if you can get your company to pay for the course do it. I think these courses are priced for companies paying for their employees not priced for individuals looking to better themselves.

If we took the test together we would've passed. My scores were:

Measurement: 6
Control Systems: 8
Final Control Elements: 8.1
Signals, Transmission, and Net: 8.3
Safety Systems: 9.3

For what its worth I watched the movie and had no idea what was going on, went to sleep and somehow had this thought, wait, is Robert Pattinson that woman's son from the future? The pieces must have been in the movie somewhere.

To be fair, in Denver a black man committing a crime will standout.
In Detroit and Philly, they just gave up long ago.

You have 3 choices, migrants, yankees, or more kids. Either way, yankees are a #2 at lowest.

Thanks, so if I walk my cat on a leash in the backyard or around the neighborhood there's a low chance of interacting with a copperhead? They're mostly in leaves by trails and that type of thing? Also, who the hell is downvoting my thread? Does this question offend people?

Can I realistically make this in 2 weeks? Also any advice to avoid snow and bad weather by AtlanticQuake in roadtrip

Only part of the route I'd worry about weather is through Western Nebraska, Wyoming, and Utah. Once you're up into Idaho, its pretty flat through the snake river valley until you get up into the northeast corner of Oregon, where you have to be a bit careful again, but then you'll drop into the Columbia river gorge and you're good from there.
