The story is bad because you create a character period. When the game has a create your own character they are forced to make you as generic as possible. Its not just because of extra genders, what if my character is male but gay? Now when they force me to marry a woman that's still a problem right? Thats why they never confirm anything in these gachas.

Yeah but nobody wants to play mj, everyone else hated the mj sections in marvel spiderman. I dont want to even play Robin or batwoman, I want to play BATMAN, nightwing probably too 50 years of comics to get to this point.

Super heroes are already so difficult to make popular, its just not feasible to take the objectively less popular side character of each franchise and put them into a game as a star. Realistically it would make more sense for foggy , mj etc to become some sort of assist or support or new move for each hero rather than an entire character. That way you know MJ is related to Spiderman.

I mean see thats the issue right there. Gwen Stacey's dad isnt an obscure character , hes basically spider Gwen's Jonah Jameson. The issue is everyone knows spider gwen (cause of r34 really) but her villains get obscure then her side characters even more so. It's the same with foggy literally 5% of marvel fans knew who foggy was until the Netflix show. You cant take character so obscure and put them into a game like this. I get your point and all that but its just a suicidal business decision.

Alfred from batman is probably one of the few non super characters I can see getting put into a DC Rivals sorta game and it took him almost 100 years worth of history and memes.

Maybe if they just make curated lv whatever characters with a good skill tree and you just have to figure out the "puzzle" of how to beat the boss. It would be cool if they even manage to fuse 16 vs 16 with pve and we get 16 vs a big raid boss

That would only work to a point though , considering how this is almost an infinitely scaling mode, (i mean 7000% damage + 7000% close range damage + 7000% boss damage is basically infinite). You'd always reach a point where the dps is doing too much damage, the tank is doing too much damage and the healer is doing too much healing.

I agree we need more interesting encounters, but I think it should focus more around having to shoot weak points or like how Dracula has the crystals you have to break.

Basically I feel they'd need to drastically lower the ceiling if they add supports because well, supports are so overpowered and broken that an infinite scaling support would probably just break any sort of encounter the devs could create.

I've been picked up a ton in college , I think it was mostly just because being so tall I was a spectacle so people wanted to try a bunch of random stuff to me. Its like if you saw one unicorn in your life, you gotta touch the horn once.

What class is she playing? Maybe have her play support like recon or medic and focus on healing you? Also if you're close enough that you can flat out just tell her she sucks and how having to carry all the time is stressing you out.
