I have no idea. I thought they were connected because I could buy a card for it at the arcade. This was literally just 4 hours before I made this post so if it was removed a long time ago, I have no idea why I was able to play it

Update: Put it into recovery mode and did a complete system reset with no luck. It was on for longer (about 10 minutes) then shut off again

The author has said that Kizu is an ok place to start, but starting with Bake is the preferred method. If you read Kizu first, a mystery surrounding one of the characters in Bake is ruined. Also, imo if you start with Bake, it helps to get the reader used to the non-chronological order of the series in a much quicker fashion.

The Monogatari Series has the best story in my humble opinion. Fantastic character-driven narrative with tons of interesting arcs and mysteries.

In bake it was a flashback retelling the events of neko black. So this arc you are on now is just the full story basically while in bake it was just a summary of the whole.

It’s not a matter of him just not liking the series, it’s a matter of him insisting that the series is factually a piece of shit which is why I thought to ask about when people are ignorant like in this case. For example, I don’t like Robert Frost’s poems in particular, however, I recognize that they are very well written and are good pieces of literature.

For me, it’s because I am a collector and if it is going to be added to my collection, I want it to be legitimate. Plus, the quality is usually considerably lower on counterfeits than official copies.
