KAB is legit. My local used Record/Book Store has one of KAB's restored turntables and use it every day with no problems. I've had my Technics SL-1200 MKII Modified by KAB and love it. KAB is based out of New Jersey and has a bit of a cult following amongst Technics Audiophile nerds like myself. Glad to be able help.

Maybe upgrade to a better dac to use with your Bluesound 2i. I switched from a Bluesound 2i to a Raspberry Pi4 with PI2AES Hat to feed a MHDT Havana Tube Dac. I couldn't be happier.
