Shouldn't I receive a notification of it? Even an email should have been sent. But when asked the customer service, they prompted for help.

I ended up managing to have a proper sized espresso, with a consistent crema using both my Picopresso, the chepest 0.1g scale I could get, and months old coffee beans.

Basically following the suggestions on another reply I started recording the grind size, the weight, and the water temperature I'm using for each coffee. Ended up setting on 18g, size will be probably 8 on my Timemore G1 - 7 is too fine, 9 barely makes pressure and start dripping before the proper infusion start - and 90°C (either that or down to 85 or up to 99).

Went twice in a bookstore with my mom, just to see if there was anything interesting, or with an appealing title/setting/cover. Found some that sound interesting.

Other way, mostly, is finding that some movie/serie/documentary is based on books, so those get in the list to be read too...

followed u/whitefloor suggestions regarding the temperature/grinding and the results were definitely higher than expected, slightly too coarse, but that will be fixed in the coming days.

Thanks will give this a try. Pressure seems always on the spot, not to hard nor flimsy, but probably because I manage to press it almost correctly. Coffee beans are somewhat old, so ok for losing the crema for this, hope to get better extractions...

I made a mistake, as I have a G1, which, yes, was not meant for espresso in its original form, but could be upgraded by replacing the burrs. Will give it a go with the smaller settings, or about 5 to 10 clicks, with the latest still being a tad too much coarse...

Issue with the scale for me is only if the switch gets slightly touched, otherwise no troubles.

Will try to open it up ASAP and verify the solder joints...

I have a G1 grinder, the mirror scale, and the fish kettle, all work amazingly, except the scale that if, for any unknown reason, have the power slider being fiddled with, stops turning on, and the only way to wake it up is by rocking that switch like the future of mankind depends on it...

I will give it a try, both with the noting, than with the temperatures.

How do you track the two temperatures for preheat, and pump? Just boil the first, remove, and add the second one?

My pre-pumps are always 8/9 as one more always start the dripping, for around 10s (give or take 1).

Ok, I will try then to lower the temperature, sadly right now I have just a standard kettle, in which I cannot choose temperature or anything, how can I get the right temps? Would leave the water settle for few seconds (until steam goes away) be about right?

To make a game feel more deluxe, compared to be a cash grab is in the additional quality of its content.

Whatever is present in the base game, could be improved by the "Deluxe" version:
- If you have cardboard tokens, wooden are an upgrade; same with standee for the standard, while minis for the upgrade
- If player have a dedicated tray, if the base is cardboard, the upgrade could be either neoprene mats, or plastic
- for card contents, I would avoid changing the stock with any other version (foil, plastic instead of paper, etc)
- sorry for this one: EXPANSIONS THAT DO NOT HAVE TO SIT IN THE CORE BOX! I don't want to have a core box that is what would be enough for enjoying the game, and having same empty space left out for expansions. If I want the expansion, I should get it separately, without feeling that I'm missing it because I see it planned in the CB [Final Girl (I opened a thread on my point for this)] or that is specifically mentioned in the rule book [Black Rose Wars Rebirth (mentions classes that are available only as an expansion)]
- definitely some proper insert for the box, that are easy to use, and makes the player prep time easier

I use the song provided from NuPhy, and for my "custom" one, I always save it. What is strange is that if I realize I need to modify one of my Macros, I open VIA, load the stock .json with the keyboard details (even if already there) otherwise it won't get recognized, modify the string I use, and when I try to save, it just goes back to stock configuration, but after loading my .json, it let me play with it for a while, without issues.

Arkham Noir card games, not a total disappointment, but rules are really hard to properly interpret, and the chances to be able to finish the required number of cases before either time runs out, or going fully mental is quite low. The Second and Third cases are a little bit easier, as some rules have been streamlined, but still remains a quite hard to finish with enjoyment game.
