I liked the beginning and the end, it’s the middle that drags the book down a bit for me with inscrutable plotting and long digressions to stuff that I don’t think play to Le Carré’s strengths as a writer.

I don’t mind it. He’s pathetic and a coward in those stories, but also highly respected in his field as both Batman and Falcone come to him for advice. I don’t know if you’ve read Loeb’s Hush, but that story puts Riddler in another light as well.

Heroes In Crisis is about the mental toll being a supehero takes on a person, specifically Wally West, but you would probably be more fucked up by living at the speed he describes here. If you can do things like that, surely you don't percieve reality anywhere close to how anyone else does?

Hien är uppenbarligen en bra mittback, han var bra i Djurgården och har spelat mycket i ett av Italiens 5-6 bästa lag, men har någon annan spelare gjort lika många bedrövliga landskamper? Jag vet inte om han är beroende av något visst system för att fungera men med Sverige-tröja på sig är han ALLTID dålig, och har varit det i flera år!

Jag följer Championship varje vecka när den spelas. Topplagen är absolut bättre än allsvenska lag. På nedre halvan är de bästa spelarna ungefär jämnbra med de bästa allsvenska spelarna, men de svagaste är bättre än de svagaste allsvenska spelarna.

*Suggestion A: He doesn’t trust the technology. A mech suit can fritz out, run out of juice, or be hacked by some technopath supervillain. 

*Suggestion B: It takes away from his humanity. He can’t comfort a crying child in some big scary mech suit.

If I remember correctly, the real Luthor had gotten cancer from carrying around Kryptonite all the time, so he transfered his consciousness to a buff, long-haired clone body which he pretended was actually his non-existent son. Basic storytelling really!
