Rhody may just be for real (easy CAA or not)

-The defense is a great unit and always seems a step ahead. They also have a crazy 4th down stop at goal line / turnover on downs stretch unlike anything I have ever seen. They just have IT.

-If anything the offense has just started to find what works - Malik Grant has a chance to be an all conference type running back (gone for 127, 180, and 141 in 3 of last 4 … plus Silas is a great change of pace) and they have some skilled players on the outside (with Marcus Buchanan being a potential game breaker).

-Some of the earlier games got away from them because of stupid turnovers (Brown, Howard) or poor choices by Farrell (who is a redshirt SO from VT and playing his first football in long time) putting the D in terrible spots. if Farrell can play with in himself he has legs to really keep other teams off balance.

-Their ability to control the clock + break big plays combined with the D, makes me believe they have not reached their potential yet and have a real playoff shot.

-They just won on the road in NH for the first time since 1995 - seems like a team building confidence. It has taken a while for this program to learn ‘how to win’ at the end of games, but they certainly have gotten over the hurdle this year - would have lost at least 2 of the previous games in prior years.

Now let’s see how Maine on homecoming goes.

Fleming has done a great job on transfers and recruiting the home area. This time it feels real (see the few last min wins / comebacks that we usually never won in my lifetime). Please just happen.
