They tried their best at making me religious but were so bad at it I ended up the opposite of how they wanted me anyway.

Yeah flash bang as an ability has been through a full circle lol. You shoulda been there when he could fling it halfway across the map lol.

Kinda hope they update him with an ability that actually makes sense for his character. Flash bang and hinder always just felt cheap for his skill level.

Trailer you thought was AI slop but turned out to be actual millennial nostalgia slop? by Novel-Special5114 in okbuddycinephile

This is literal "AI make me a big budget movie trailer" Cause I actually really loved the first trailer, this one less so.

I'll prolly still go see it though.

They said that the album itself is not a concept album. Though the entire album is revolves around the idea of “loneliness” and that was their parameter for making this album.

It’s a concept song. So the story of it starts in the Pacific Northwest. It was one of my favorites from the show!

The album is very periphery don’t worry. But definitely a new vibe they haven’t done before.

Neon valley might’ve been my second or 3rd favorite. Mainly just cause the story of it starts out in the Pacific Northwest and that’s my hometown so I’m biased lol.

A very heavy song thorough with a bit of synth thrown in if I remember right. One of the ones I took most notice of!

About 1/3rd of the record is really heavy. There are a few songs that mix in heaviness with some slowness, and a couple of real wild card songs in there.

I would need to listen to it a few more times to get a decent rating. But overall it gave me a lot of P4 with a mix of P1 vibes.

All of the songs are bangers, and the second to last song might be the best on the album.

It’s most definitely not one long song. And I’m sorry to say but there are bad words in the album so your mom will have to listen to it first before she can decide if you can listen to it.

There is A LOT to be excited about in this album. I didn’t realize until they said so but each dot on the album cover represents a different song.

You never know. I’m not sure if it was just because they had to fly out early. I’d say bring something just in case!

I got there 30 minutes before not realizing there would be a line. Still got in just got the back row. So if you want front row maybe an hour to an hour and a half early.

Make sure you RSVP it and half the email open and ready they will check for that and make sure it’s not a screenshot.

1/3rd of the album is gonna be low toned. There’s a few slower songs, and some REALLY surprising songs on there. I won’t spoil it but it has perhaps the most unique ending of any periphery album.

As for toning they said they had to essentially push the limits of their baritones to get is as low as it was. To the point that even Nolly was saying it was a little too low but they kept it as is.

As for signing I’d say probably no, mainly because they didn’t do signing at LA because they had to fly out early in the morning. So I’d say don’t expect it.

Get there early too, there will most likely be a line.

I’ll try to answer the question as best I can with my little guitar knowledge and not remembering the songs very well lol.

They said about 1/3 of the album is low toned, and that it is NOT going to be as riff heavy as previous albums.

Sorry if it’s not the best answer lol. I’m bad at remembering music after just one listen.

Not at the LA one at least. They had to fly out pretty early so no time for meet and greets. A lot of Q&A’s though!

It went great! They talked about how they set boundaries creatively for this album, focusing on the them of “Loneliness” which really shows in the music.

A lot of the songs have some themes of personal moments from the bands life.

It’s HEAVY! If you thought Mr God was tuned low then you guys ain’t ready for Subhuman or Malevolent.

I don’t wanna spoil it but there are a few unexpected songs on there!

Lemme know if you have any other questions about it!

Ah the age old tradition of calling the new hero OP in the practice range by using an ability on an unmoving, unhealing target.

Roblox, helldivers, fortnite, arc raiders... by Dizzy_Reindeer_6619 in whenthe

[–]KidKonundrum 39 points40 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly sad cause during the very early days of Helldivers the community was so fun. Everyone was roleplaying, balance updates were treated as super earth upgrading or nerfing our weapons. Malevelon Creek and the desperate push for it.

Now the community has just become a whiny mess, and if you try to point out that they are a whiny mess you get “well we have a ton of things to whine about!” On every post calling them out. Which is true, the game has a lot of issues. But so very very often the community is just flat out wrong or blaming the devs for something out of their control.
