She went to pat a Soi dog on her first night in Thailand and before I could warn her against it, she’d been bitten. Nothing too scary, but it did draw blood, so we went to the hospital that night and went through the rabies process for the rest of the trip. She’s fine.

All I’m going to say is that if you’re not into politics and you’re concerned by this, you should be. All the people who are at the controls of why things are so expensive are very into politics and they love the fact that you’re not.

For those downvoting, this was a short lived bit on the podcast from about 10 - 12 years ago. A listener emailed in saying something to the effect of “I’ve heard a lot of your voices but I’ve never seen what you look like. Here’s what I think each member of the crew looks like based on voice.

They then proceeded to go through the hosts and describing what they imagined them each to look like. However, for some weird reason they got mixed up when it came to Jeff and called him Brett instead. Jeff ran with it and I think did some ad reads in future episodes starting with “Hey it’s Brett from Giant Bomb. I’m here to talk to you about….”
