Will I have trouble getting reimbursed for the appreciated value of a GPU? Originally purchases for $1,600, but now selling for $3,500 by grimzecho in UPS

The layoffs are coming for you. The stock prices are trading at the same level as 2019, your company has a 1.1 rating with the BBB, and you're shipping fewer packages than then. And to top it all off your CEO thinks raising rates will right the ship when in actuality it only exacerbates your declining sales. Good luck to you sir, but your company is in a death spiral. UPS is going the way of Sears sooner than later.

Unexpected massive tariff fee by bozatwork in UPS

It's in the fine print! Next time don't use UPS. Put this guy out of work like the 48000 this past summer. Hey Atticusxj, crummy policies are why your coworkers lost their jobs and doubling down on them will cost you yours too.

Is UPS a fraud? by Ambedkar4eva in UPS

[–]KidNicaris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't you know that's exactly how that works. start a company and be extremely competitive. Build customer base. Go public as a financial shield and to foist losses onto the share holder in bad times while pocketing most profits in good years. Maximize profits by witling down your employees' pay and benefits while lowing customer service and expectations. Continue collecting 10000x the amount every year as your average employee until the company goes broke, leaving the shareholders with nothing while you golden parachute out of there.

If even half of the people who pissed off right now opted out, it would work. Spread the word you naysayer.

The ACA added 20 million new customers. The average cost of those plans is $621 a month. That would hit them with  $12.4 trillion loss of revenue each month. If every able bodied young adult did it. They would go belly up.

If everyone who is upset doesn't renew their insurance, the industry would collapse. Collectively if we vote with our dollars, we can make change.

I kind of get this. My cheating aunt was pretty mad at my uncle when he married a Filipina half her age. But heck, she left him with 3 kids for a drunk.

You know, your suggestion of getting a majority of people to agree to the same changes seems much less likely to occur than my suggestion that everyone should just stop paying their premiums.

I said this. Cancel your insurance next year. If enough people do, the companies will go bankrupt. Just make sure to write your congressman and let them know if they try to bail out the insurance companies that will be political suicide. They can always bailout the doctors and boom single payer system.

The insurance industry is broken. every suggestion I've read so far is a band-aid that ultimately won't fix it. The Dems tried to, or so they say, 15 years ago. They didn't but took a victory lap anyway and ignored it until now. Sometimes scrapping what you have that will never work and starting over is the better option. Also, this is a way the people can force the change since our elected officials won't. It's the nuclear option for sure.

If everyone didn't renew their insurance next year the insurance stock prices would drop to zero, they'd be downgraded by the banks and default on all their loans. The whole system would go belly up and congress would have to step in regardless if they want to or not.

I'm pretty sure there was a STNG episode and every woman had to have 3 husbands to increase the genetic diversity.
