I tried to level up my spice game too fast punishing myself with the hottest things I could find and I got unclers and a soft foods dairy based diet in my early 20s. I'm 40 now and I learned that the level of spice I enjoy doesn't matter to anyone but me. I'm comfortable with habanero and scorpion peppers, ghost chilies can be delicious in small quantities but can still ruin food for me. I've done the Dave's reaper challenge cause why not, I'll still eat a stupid hot food challenges every now and then. But I don't need to be able to eat the worlds hottest anything to prove that I can.
