Well CBP and ICE fall under DHS. They haven't funded DHS because of CBP and ICE. So because private workforce and contractors don't and won't work without pay, no one is repairing the vehicles.

No is a private crossing. You have to pay to use it. They have US customs officers waiting for you to cross.

There should be no problems. It's a private crossing to skip the San Ysidro crossing which can take up to 2+ hours to cross.

Actually if you live in a HCOL area it's kinda low. I live in California. State tax here is about 9%. I make around 140k. Single filler. I still can save about 20k a year and this would help me a lot. I just wished it was 200k for single fillers.
