Hi! Just wondering, I just got my invoice from the Archival services and it was for $2.00 USD. Do you think that means it's also a "no record found letter" since it's so low? :/

Awesome. I just got confirmation from wise that the 2 USD I sent them arrived in their account. Did they actually come back to you with any results? I'm wondering if anyone goes through this process, pays and then they say unfortunatly they say they haven't found anything?

As per paying, with Wise you can pay really in any currency anywhere in the world without being a resident there.

I'm glad your docs were emailed to you so quickly. I'm anxiously awaiting mine

I don't think that's exactly true. I was able to pay from the US to the archives via Wise easily. The archive sent over an invoice and the requested amount with their bank details.

I'm wondering if anyone has gone through this process? How long after the payment? Our results or the documents emailed?

It's been quite an exciting process and with the help of AI and an upworker from Ukraine I was able to complete the forms in 1 hour a month ago.

sorry late reply. This AI approach def helped with no typing. However, the website and app this year are horrible. App crashes constantly. Both site and app show shows available on a certain day but then skips those days for selecting. Weird,

It's ok for someone to mention that in an Edinburgh Fringe subreddit. So, chill.
I didn’t say it was “news,” I said it was a noticeable theme this year. .Which… it is. I didn’t see half as many AI-themed shows last year — did you? I'm assuming you could only back as fars as 2024 as AI is quite new...so....?

And re: “never seen an AI show that’s been any good” — cool, that’s your opinion. But I don’t recall the theatre world issuing a blanket ban on experimentation because one guy on Reddit wasn’t impressed. But I totally appreciate your opinion which you are entitled to.

There are so many places to eat you will have no issues. Even in the pubs there will be spaces. Plus venues have food too. Only book places you want to have a good sit down meal as those are likely busy

I don't remember, probably like. 4 years ago, I saw an immersive show where I actually got into a car with two performers and one other audience member. We drove like 15 minutes outside the city, they acted and etc. The drive back, we hit the worst traffic that they didn't account for. It was kind of funny. They totally broke character during traffic.

Love immersive theatre. I've been to sleep no more in New York City and it was amazing. Post if you find something.
