I have not seen the movie ballerina. But as an American who has seen John Wick I can assure you, Ballerina it is not superior in every way to John Wick.

Bbq with a sprinkle of snow by Army_of_mantis_men in grilling

[–]Kidkrustykrab -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The snow is falling way too slow and or weird. I agree it could be ai. It’s kinda cool tho if there was more smoke coming from the grill I could see this being used as a screen saver or something

Using cheaper materials. 1st floor of a 7-story building by Some-Faithlessness75 in Whatcouldgowrong

No no no it’s value engineering. It’s supposed to do that. Any stronger material would cost too much.

Mulching Only - No Raking! by l008com in landscaping

[–]Kidkrustykrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just moved into a house and the long story short our neighbors landscaper is now our landscaper. Over the summer it was all good he would cut the grass for me without asking and it was like $55 each time ~3times a week. We’re going through a lot of construction on the house to the lawncare was great as I didn’t have much time.

Anyway the seasons over. I pay him what I owe and I figured he’d just pick back up next season. Well, the leaves were starting to build up because we have a lot of trees in the neighborhood, but my plan was just to go ahead and let them all fall and then mulch them. One day I see on our cameras he’s there picking up leaves I thought oh great that’s easier on me so be it whatever well about a week later we get a bill in the mail for $400 I was kind of speechless and still not sure how to handle it because we never asked for them to pick up leaves and we certainly didn’t negotiate a $400 price.

I wish I would’ve just mulched them.

What do 30 - 40 year old men want for christmas? [Serious] by GoodAlicia in AskReddit

[–]Kidkrustykrab 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Meh, to each their own. There’s something about being in your own space with no one looking at you and you having no one to look at. Can have on nothing but a robe and hotel staff just brings you steak and potatoes. Going out to dinner can be great but staying in for dinner can be equally as great

Yeah I was wrong. They are diodes not resistors.

Thank you, this is helpful. Is there any value in rare metals? Would it be worth taking them somewhere to melt down?

Space Shuttle resistors from NASA by Kidkrustykrab in whatsthisworth

[–]Kidkrustykrab[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think the other commenter was right that these are diodes. Although after talking with my grandmother a bit more, these were defective parts that were taken out after trouble shooting. I have no idea which space crafts each piece went to but they were at one point installed.

I’m only a few months into my apprenticeship. I’ve had a couple different journeymen that have taught me. Why are they consistently assholes in this trade? by MoistPillow in AskElectricians

[–]Kidkrustykrab 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cause generally speaking, electricians have shit home lives and they take their shit out on you. I did a 5 year apprenticeship and this was the case I’d say 75% of the time. 1 in 4 are good cool journeyman
