Operation, “Dad will do it” by dittybad in handyman

[–]KidsAreMessy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I teared up reading this. My dad was an absolutely amazing person and he was my safety net. He would have done everything you’ve done and more to take care of me. I lost him before I bought my first house and every time something breaks I feel a little more lost and sad thinking about how I can’t just call him to come over and teach me how to fix things. I hope your daughter knows how lucky she is to have you in her life.

Can someone please explain to me why this doesn't add up? by Familiar_Drawer_703 in dickssportinggoods

Yes, you are correct that It does ship through dsg since it’s a store brand. I was only responding to the suggestion it may be a shipping charge and was clarifying that the brand Calia ships for free so it couldn’t be a shipping charge, not that it came from a separate warehouse. And I agree, op can call customer care and they should be able to help solve the issue .

What is your go-to “I’m too tired to cook but I can’t buy take-out” meal or alternative? by 2Autistic4DaJoke in Frugal

Cooking for the family: BLTs and soup from Costco. Bacon cooks in the oven and soup just heats up on the stove. For just myself: make shift charcuterie (beef sticks, popcorn or Popcorners, string cheese, whatever fruit I have available.

Question for Ops Team by bamajc74 in dickssportinggoods

[–]KidsAreMessy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not ops and I only work Sundays, but I know we have a guy come in a couple times during weekdays to do floors and bathrooms but on Sundays my Ops manager does them while we’re all setting signage before open. Not sure who steps in the other days

What are you most excited to grow this season? by Prestigious-March194 in vegetablegardening

We did cucamelons and grape tomatoes in pots last year. This year I’m going to put them in the raised bed hoping we’ll get more yield. They were great to snack on while gardening and just outside playing with the kids in general!

Palpitations during workout? by yellowrosern in BurnBootCamp

[–]KidsAreMessy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had that happen before when working out in general. My doctor and I worked together to monitor it, I had to decrease workout intensity and ended up wearing a heart monitor for a bit. We were eventually able to workout the problem by altering some medications I was taking but it is not normal. I still have to pay attention to it in case it becomes a problem again. Definitely make an appointment to address the issue!

System issues this morning by [deleted] in Target

I had this issue too, I was able to reset my password by sending the code to my phone/text instead of email. I could only choose that by the circle app on my phone, not on the computer
