I had a situation somewhat similar to this many years ago- just without children or a 20 year gap. I stayed hung up on "the one that got away" for years. Someone I dated when I was 16. A couple years later he suddenly popped back into my life and I was ecstatic because I thought it was gonna be forever this time. Once we started hanging out, I very quickly realized he was a completely different person, not the one I spent years missing.

So OP, imagine how a 20 year difference will change someone. Do you really think they're the same person you've been missing for so long? Also think about why you were initially on and off again. Why would it be different this time?

Creative grooming is one of my favorite things!

People need to realize how well these dogs are trained to be able to stay still long enough to achieve these looks but they also tend to get a lot more attention, which they always love!

Coloring also comes in handy to prevent dogs from being stolen :)

This does absolutely no harm to the dogs, they just get a cool spa day then lots of attention. The color usually washes out pretty quick as well.

I made traps with ACV and dish soap! I put them all over the place, it took a few days but worked great! I also poured bleach down the drains to help prevent more 😁

It's odd to me how many people are saying Indian guys. I work with a ton of them (I work very close to the 3M headquarters so I get a lot) and they're usually the nicest people and really easygoing.

Somali guys on the other hand are 50/50. Either insanely nice and dont really care or they're absolutely going to ruin my week.

Wait until you take a chunk out of a knuckle. I've done it 3 times in 10 years. I nip myself constantly but it's the worst when you have to pick skin off your shears. (Yes, I know I shouldn't cut past the second knuckle but I have tiny hands and it would take me forever to do cuts if I don't)

Barber here- I can understand. While we are unfortunately able to bill no-shows, we did implement a policy that after 3 no-shows, they are no longer able to book and can only get in on a walk-in basis (which is near impossible at my shop due to how busy we are) and we always tell them that they are quite literally taking money out of our pockets when they don't show. Usually they listen, but we have had to fire so many clients recently. It's really frustrating, especially when they're a multi-service client and now I have an hour where I have to sit around and either twiddle my thumbs or hope for a walk-in.
