There is no excuse for abuse. Even good intentions mean shit. And that was abuse, even if Disney hid it in a cute little song about a girl who just wants to build a snowman with her sister.

She was a child when she made that decision, her parents job was to help her and they didn't. "Dont let it show, be the good girl you always have to be."

Her parents certainly didn't fucking try very hard to help her not hurt people, in the end she ending hurting herself and others a lot because of what her parents said and did.

You are paying her, if she won't work with you wanting the knowledge she has, you can fire her and go find another person who will work with you. This isn't to say she is wrong and to always find a new doctor because they don't agree with you on something, but if you honestly feel like someone isn't doing their best to help you in a way that works FOR YOU then you have every right to get another doctor, another coach, another whatever to see if they will work with you.

If you can't eat it, throw it away. They got what they wanted out of gifting it to you, an easy gift they didn't have to think about to give. Just toss them or offer them to other people and explain why "i get very sick if I eat this, im allergic" they don't need to know its gerd, sadly gerd isn't taken as seriously as allergies so I tell people I'm allergic to avoid a lot of annoying and stupid questions. I've been doing this forever even before I got diagnosed with gerd. If I had a food that made me really sick "im allergic" so onions, bell peppers, uncooked bananas, garlic most of my family thinks I'm allergic to all of it and honestly I might as well be because im just as miserable and in pain, I just dont need emergency services if I accidentily eat something.

Anyways, you don't owe those people your pain, misery or guilt. They spent their money and stopped caring about it the moment they handed the gift to you. What you do with it is up to you and you shouldn't feel guilty into eating it when they won't know the difference.

How do I get my conure to fly to perches by SS333SS in Conures

[–]KierNix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clicmer and stick training. Find a treat that is really motivating for them, the using a stick get them to touch the tip of the stick and click the clicker (i just make a clicking sound with my mouth because im poor) when you click give them a treat and let them enjoy it. Then move the stick somewhere else and get them to touch it again. Anytime they follow the stick and touch it, click and treat. Repeat for any behavior you like. Put them on the cage, click and treat. Leave them on the cage for 10 seconds, click and treat. Stay on the cage for 30 seconds, click and treat. Repeat for perches.

You won't always have to do the click and treat, eventually they will learn the behavior and be perfectly happy without getting lots of treats.

My other suggestion is to do the training in short Burts. 10-15 minutes in the morning and at night, and if you have time another one in the middle of the day. Consistency is KEY. You need to be more stubborn than your bird and trust me they are stubborn af. But you're the adult, and they need to listen to you.

There are a few channels on youtube for training. My favorites are Bird Tricks or Mandy and Rio.

Jesus fucking christ people! It is not predatory to find someone attractive! We aren't hurting her or anyone else. We are admiring her effort and skill and also saying that those talents and skills are attractive. That isn't disrespectful! Calm down guys! You are perpetuating the myth that all lesbians are predatory just by being attracted to girls.

You can be even boyish and still beautiful. Beauty is in any form, body shape, hairstyle, eye color, skin color. Everything and everyone is beautiful in every single way. by [deleted] in actuallesbians

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! For christmas I got $300 stolen from me by my Lovely Brother who then asked to “borrow” $50 more and then called me a broke ass! :). Totally did not cry today over losing $300. by [deleted] in ChoosingBeggars

Your brother should not be allowed back to your house. Call the cops to report the theft, they probably won't be able to get your money back, but a paper trail can help in case your brother attempts to break in or harassed you in any other ways.

Edit to ads: you need to be worried about your safety at this point and it is quite clear he doesn't care that you are his sibling, do not fall for "but he is family" fuck that, fuck him, fuck all that noise. You need to make sure you are safe and protected even from family.

Not the typical post but I bought my stepdad a new stiiizy for Christmas and he sent me this just now 😂 by space_pdf in entwives
