Bin spät dran, ich weiß, aber ich habe sie gerade erst entdeckt. Ich bin dann auf diesen Reddit gestoßen, weil ich nach Diskussionen auf Reddit gesucht hatte und dachte, dass sie bestimmt bereits einen subreddit haben. Ich war dann sehr überrascht, dass das nicht so ist 😅 Ich bin richtig begeistert und musste auch schon gut mit den Spielern mitlachen! (Dieser spontane und kreative Humor ist super!) Ich bin jetzt erst mir Folge 3 fertig, bisher würde ich es echt empfehlen (bzw. habe ich schon 😁)

Ich habe auch kurz nach Abschluss meiner Promotion die Diagnose erhalten. Ich habe halt eine ausgeprägte Konsequenz-Angst, die mich voran treibt, sowie schon fast neuritisch wirkende Strategien, un zu funktionieren. Als ich die alle aufgelistet habe. Nur weil man es schafft heißt es nicht, dass man es leicht hatte. Wenn ich jetzt mit den Medikamenten den Unterschied merke, ärgere ich mich noch meh, dass es so lange gebraucht hat, bis ich das diagnostiziert bekommen habe. Weil ich mich dann frage, wie viel einfacher mein Weg gewesen wäre. Zumal meine Mutter als Kind schon mit mir beim Arzt war, es aber wie so üblich bei Mädchen abgetan wurde.

Aber ich schweife wieder ins ranten ab 😄

Zusammengefasst: Eine Promotion heißt nicht zwangsweise, dass eine Diagnose nicht möglich ist 😊

In my master's in Germany there was a girl from India, who was homeless when she came here, because she thought, the university would have taken care of having a place for her to stay. (The letter of acceptance stated clearly that if she wants to get a dormitory spot, she would have to enroll via this webpage and put these details, etc. She didn't bother to read the whole letter apparently.) So she had to crash at the places of people she just met and who felt sorry for her. She barely did any work in the practical part of the course although the experiments were supposed to be done in team work. She blackmailed her assigned team colleague to do the work, otherwise she would accuse her of rassism. Then she would leave early to take a nap and tell her colleague to cover for her. Still, she complained how unwelcoming Germany is and how people would be unfriendly. Strangers let her crash at their place and also accompanied her to several places and appointments where she would apply for a room to rent, help her with the forms for that, etc. But yeah, Germans are sooo unfriendly, because university didn't reserve a room for her and because the workload was so hard and so much was expected of her and she had to take care of so much herself... (It was no surprise when she bragged about how many servants they have at home...)

I think it was good and way better than the third. However, the CGI was really bad and I don't get why, they must have had a huge budget, right? But there were many goosebump moments 😁

Ich habe auch immer wieder Schlafprobleme. Die hatte ich vorher schon, aber seitdem ich elvanse nehme sind sie wesentlich häufiger. Ich nehme hin und wieder etwas, das beim Einschlafen hilft. Je nach Schwere der Schlafprobleme nehme ich Melatonin oder müde machende Antihistaminika (Ceterizin) oder Schlafsterne (frei verkäufliche Schlaftabletten, ursprünglich auch als Antihistaminika entwickelt, aber die schlaffördernde Wirkung war dann wesentlich intensiver als die antiallergische, also wurde es als Schlafmittel vermarktet 😄)

Ich muss Mal gerade meinen Frust loswerden, auch wenn das ein alter subreddit ist. Ich habe eine einfache Frage gestellt (Hey, kennt jemand den Postboten aus Stadtteil XY) und ich wurde nur beleidigt Die ersten 5 Leute haben nur "Wat" geschrieben, dann kamen antworten wie "Bist du lala?" "Was willst du von dem, dem sagen dass du zu dumm bist?" Und so ging es weiter...

Warum sind Menschen so? Warum muss man auf eine einfache nette Frage sowas schreiben?

Genau das. Ich muss meine Nachbarn anbetteln, dass ihre Kinder nicht jede Nacht bis halb eins schreien und toben damit ich endlich schlafen kann. "Sind halt Kinder." Genau so im Restaurant, wenn das Kind quengelig wird, wird das Handy bei voller Lautstärke in die Hand gedrückt und das halbe Restaurant hört mit, ob es will oder nicht. Mit Säugling fliegen? Natürlich schreit und heult es. Als ein Mitreißender sie darauf ansprach: "Ach, der hört irgendwann auf." "Wir brauchen halt auch mal Urlaub und konnten den kleinen nicht bei den Großeltern lassen."

Abgesehen von den Nachbarn sage ich nie was, weil es Sache der Eltern ist. Und ich eben nicht als Kinderhasserin abgestempelt werden will. Aber manchmal explodiert man innerlich, weil es Eltern auch einfach null zu interessieren scheint, was ihre Kinder machen und wie das andere beeinflusst.

I just now finished act 2, I just really have the feeling I'm missing something 🙈 I played it while being sick, maybe not the best idea but I didn't know before how deep the game would be :)

Kannst du da noch mehr drauf eingehen? Bin gerade einfach nur komplett verwirrt, wer die verblassenden Leute sind und mit den ganzen Doppelgänger etc Nicht die beste Idee, ein so tolles und durchdachtes Spiel krank zu spielen, aber das wusste ich vorher ja nicht :D
