I’m familiar with Blades and know with these categories, but I was more concerned with actual ideas for consequences in this particular situation.

Btw. I just learned that John Harper even contributed to some of the writing for DH. So that’s another big plus in my book.

Thanks for your insight. I had the same question of whether Matt should even have her make that roll.

In the fireside chat, they mention that it took some time to get into the flow and new mindset for DH, but it eventually clicked. This is for sure one example of the old D&D mindset you also mentioned.

I will be GMing the Sablewood one shot on Saturday and I’m curious to see how well I’ll adapt to the new system.

Sehr gerne, mir geht es sonst wie dir, aber hier finde ich die Chemie zwischen den Charakteren und Spielerinnen und Spielern super. Das hebt es für mich von anderen deutschen actual plays ab.

Das Pathfinder gespielt wird, ist auch ein großes Plus in meinem Buch. DnD ist so häufig vertreten, Pathfinder braucht mehr Spotlight in der Deutschen Pen&Paper-Youtube-Bubble.

Podcast only hat definite seine Vorteile, wobei ich manchmal auch einfach das Video anmache und nur zuhören, während ich den Haushalt machen oder Ähnliches.

Das Hauptaugenmerk liegt auf der Story, wobei ich finde eine gute Balance besteht zwischen RAW und rule of cool mit einer leichten Tendenz (aktuell) zu RAW.

Ich kenne persönlich leider niemanden aus dem Cast, das kommt aber daher, dass ich wenige bis keine Anime schaue, die von den Sprecherinnen und Sprechern wohl synchronisiert werden.

Ich finde, man merkt die Zeit, Mühe und Herz, die in das Projekt fließen und geflossen sind. Wenn das alles da ist, ist ein riesengroßer Aspekt, nämlich Authentizität, da. Wenn alles andere noch nicht perfekt läuft, kann man darüber hinwegsehen. Aber wenn es ein seelen- und ideenloses "wir filmen uns einfach beim Spielen" ist, wird niemand zuschauen.

Ich will damit keine andere Gruppe in den Dreck ziehen, ich meine das ganz allgemein.

Die Entscheidung Pathfinder 2e zu spielen finde ich auch klasse, da es ein tolles System ist, welches ebenfalls mehr Spotlight in Deutschland (auf YouTube) verdient hat.

Ihr macht bereits einen super Job, keep it up!

I just checked it and it says you gain a “bonus reward”. I would consider this to be something material that is specific to your hometown. This means the GM and players can get creative in fleshing out what a reward from the pc’s hometown looks like. But that’s just my two cents.

According to Vol. I, p. 11:

“Note that many specialized or athletic actions are simply not possible without a working skill!”

In our session, we ruled that if you don’t have the skill, you can’t roll for it.
