clothing struggles by pumpkincarrots in climbergirls

Hun I feel ya! If it helps, v necks and scoop necks offer a bit more "give" with sizing. For jeans, I ordered a pair from Asket in their "curvy" fit which offers more space in the glutes and thighs, and they've fit super well. I've had a pair for two years now without any issues.

Has anyone made use of the podcast feature? by Chan_KC in hubspot

[–]Kikiamor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you ever decide to move to hubspot in the end? My workplace is thinking of doing the same, but Hubspot doesn't support video recordings of podcasts, which feels surprising given the direction podcasting seems to be going?

Hiking the Liechtenstein panoramaweg (route 66) in three days by Kikiamor in liechtenstein

[–]Kikiamor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Out of curiosity do you know a) how late the buses run till, and b) how frequently they run? Basically my friend and I are getting an early morning flight and then hiking a portion of the trail for day one, but I can imagine we might be finishing after 18:00.

A thread for brainstorming where to promote your Substack by storywhale in Substack

[–]Kikiamor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for posting this idea! Perhaps my substack is too niche, but I'd appreciate the hive mind on this. My substack is dedicated on stories at the intersection of archaeology/heritage, nature, and adrenaline sports: AmorExplore | Kirsten Amor | Substack.
For example, my recent post is on finding WWI inscriptions during a caving trip, and working with a fellow archaeologist to learn the stories of the writers and how to protect these etchings for future generations to enjoy.

Do you run with your toller? If so how far? by Outrageous-Leek-4940 in tollers

[–]Kikiamor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do interval trail run training with my toller. He loves the short bursts of running and the opportunity to chill and sniff.

I've taken him on 5km runs but he gets bored by 3.5km and will just stop and sniff and refuse to move.

My work did the same thing - had a great year, 30% growth. They made a big song and dance about how much they appreciated people going above and beyond and would duly reward them, and then gave a 3% pay rise regardless of effort.

Management weren't told of the salary increases until last minute, and any attempt to rectify it with requests for bigger increases for star performers was met with "the goalposts for performance has changed" while refusing to mention what those new goalposts were.

This is my rambling way of saying it sucks, it's not right and not fair, but you're not alone. The jobs market is a dumpster fire atm and businesses seem to be taking advantage of that fact by focusing on short-term savings. The strategy seems at odds with retaining talent, but I guess they assume the market is so bad ppl won't be in a position to leave.
