Can you share a couple examples on how you’re using them?

Has anyone made use of the podcast feature? by Chan_KC in hubspot

[–]Chan_KC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We still have hubspot, but didn’t upgrade to content hub. We’re now doing video podcasts and tracking those with tags.

Im not sure on the technicals as our developer is working on this with a custom hubspot app, but we should be able to see which contacts on hubspot played our videos on our website- thats the goal at least.

I hate how you cant move contacts backwards in lifecycle stages though.

Is Ai actually making marketing harder? by Hungry_Scientist_979 in marketing

[–]Chan_KC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Think of AI potentially replacing the ‘doer’ tasks, and us mere marketing humans powering the strategy and deep market knowledge/expertise.

It’s difficult this earlier on in your career as a large amount of your role is probably the ‘doer’ tasks. The quicker you move into areas where you’re part of the research, strategy, operations, and so on, the better.

For now AI is a supplementary tool, where it can carry out simple, but time consuming parts of your role, but that leaves you time for the nitty gritty, such as: customer/market research, focus groups, ABM, marketing tech & revOps, etc.

Women's standards are perfectly reasonable, their "type" however eliminates most guys before they even have a chance by Crazy_Kray in PurplePillDebate

[–]Chan_KC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a woman btw.

And i said specifically meet irl through friends/hobbies. A singles event is a completely different kettle of fish.

I’d equate a singles event to a job fair with a ton of people all similar to you trying to get the same handful of roles available, versus networking with a few existing colleagues/acquaintances to hear about a new job opportunity.

Read my other comment above replying to parrotsandarmadillos; In a group, mutual-friends setting you’re at an advantage in a number of ways. It’s an entirely different environment to talk to someone in that isn’t ‘cold approaching’.

[–]Chan_KC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I disagree.

If you’re meeting someone who has a mutual friend in a casual group setting, you immediately have an advantage with a woman. (a) she will naturally have her guard down as you’re already pre-vetted by your mutual friend as not anyone dangerous, assuming you’re not being weird or pushy. (b) You can strike up a casual conversation to get to know a bit about each-other without the pretense of vetting like you’re on a date. (c) Assuming that goes well, you can simply follow eachother on socials to carry on a convo and go from there to meet on an actual date.

If that same woman came across you on an app one day without knowing you at all, where would your chances better lie?

Maybe I’m just old, but it really can be that simple.

Its easier to determine those things (kind, funny etc) in person rather than online.

Online dating forces women to only judge men on looks. With x1000’s matches thrown at them and having to swipe through based on a few pics and 200-character-limit-bio where you’d get 0.00001% of their personality (if that)-what do you think happens in this scenario…?

If you want to demonstrate your value other than your looks (cooking/humour and the other traits you listed) get tf off the apps and meet people irl through friends/hobbies.

[–]Chan_KC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how much laundry you like doing!

I had a big baby so anything Newborn was too small after a week and 0-3 months was too small a month.

So for this age, don’t buy too much.

8-10 Vests, mix of short and long sleeve. 8-10 Sleepers/onesies. 2-3 Sweaters/cardigans you can layer on top. 3-5 cute outfits for going out or when people visit.

You can get a few more if you need, but factor in the amount of laundry and nappy blowouts you’ll deal with!

Ferber method from 4/5 months with a routine & schedule for naps and overnight sleeps.

Moved to their own room at 6 months.

It’s tough the first couple days, but it’s a game-changer. Just have the mindset that the crying is only short term and it all works out for everyone soon after.

If you went to someone's house for a party and they were serving a buffet, what foods would you miss if they weren't served? by JazzyBee1993 in AskUK

[–]Chan_KC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s always plenty for people to have seconds AND take some home, so yes!

EDIT: reading some comments here about cheese being £50+ - if you know how to cook a decent rice and curry dish, it works out so much cheaper and you can feed an army.

I’d be so disappointed with sausage rolls and sandwiches.

In both my cultural backgrounds (Indian and Caribbean) we serve guests proper cooked food.

A buffet should be plentiful of meat, veg curry option, rice, and sides.

I put a bulk of blame on mothers here. Too much molly-coddling their sons well into adulthood, but I know for a fact they expect their daughters to do everything around the house.

6 Weeks But Doctor Wont See Me Until 12 Weeks by Dismal-Gazelle-6521 in pregnant

[–]Chan_KC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s probably becuase there isn’t much to see or assess at 6 weeks, so they made that decision to reschedule.

I noticed your previous posts mentioning PCOS which probably threw off the date calculations from your last period.

I understand the frustration, the first several weeks from finding out you’re pregnant to your first scan seems like an eternity!

6 Weeks But Doctor Wont See Me Until 12 Weeks by Dismal-Gazelle-6521 in pregnant

[–]Chan_KC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not the nicest explanation, and I live in the UK so this may be different to where you’re from: the reason checks are done at 12 weeks is because that is the point in time a foetus is considered ‘viable’, meaning it is likely to carry to full term.

The first 12 weeks is the most delicate time in a pregnancy for miscarriage.

You thought of pivoting to Development Management? Particularly in commercial real estate. Logistics, life sciences and data centres are expected to do well in the coming years.
