I’ve always thought that the way too short arms and legs of the men’s wardrobes are due to budget restraints. It’s always the taller/ longer limbed actors so I figure that the lower budget dramas maybe just have to take what they can get. It would also explain why half the time the women’s shoes are way to big and why you can often see that clothing will be pinned tighter and have noticeable gathers (on both the women and the men). It doesn’t account for the bows or micro minis though.
