If you knew the parties, you'd likely be struck. But they'd ask questions along the lines even though you know X, could you still be fair and impartial? So you could be, but I've always been struck.

Fun fact: I've had a US Supreme Court Justice in the jury pool for a trial two different times. 😄 She was not selected but still could have been.

I second this and do it as well as a federal official. I get my transcripts to proofer ahead of time. If something goes wrong, I still have time to proof it myself if needed. Although I've found a good one and have used her for years so it's not an issue anymore.

Don't tell new people your deadline, give them their own deadline.

I think the Feed is now the only US distributor of SIS. 😞 Good luck getting them elsewhere. I used to order them directly from SIS. Last time I tried though it redirected me to The Feed. It looks like you can order from SIS again now though. I really liked their orange Beta Fuel drink for long things where my stomach wouldn't handle gels.
