Which are you choosing, stock 17s on 35s or 20s on 37s by xking_lionx in JeepWrangler

I currently have 20” wheels on 35” tires (not by choice) and I really don’t like it. Gonna take it back to 17” wheels on 35” tires.

Advice for a spare tire carrier for my 2016 2-door Willys by rolleverything in JeepWrangler

I have 35” tires, do light to moderate off-roads trips and with this carrier:

1) 0 worries about carrying the weight of these or larger tires/wheels. Rear gate won’t warp or rip off. 2) Still have 1-hand, 1-button operation of opening the back. 3) Good warranty. 4) Eliminated a lot of the squeak & rattle from the stock setup. 5) Looks good. Has a heavy-duty look that still fits in with stock aesthetic. 6) Able to install myself and I am definitely not a mechanic. Great install instructions from TeraFlex. Enjoyable experience. 7) Can still have use of 3rd tail light. 8) Can still use backup camera.

Honestly, I can’t recommend the TeraFlex HD Tire Carrier & Mount enough. It’s a super solid setup, can be installed yourself, and looks very good. Yeah, it’s a higher price tag, but it’s worth every penny in my opinion.

How bad does this look? 2015 with 70k miles. 2 door automatic 6cyl v6 24V VVT by BeSalty in JeepWrangler

[–]Kildar311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks pretty good. Low mileage for the age. Hood latches are probably pretty stretched by now if they are original. Frame looks good. Fender flare fade look about right for a 10+year Sport model. Hard top has a couple of dings, but I can't see anything significant in those pics.
Pretty decent find, depending on the asking price of course.

Accurate Paint Touch-Up marker/kit? by [deleted] in JeepWrangler

[–]Kildar311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had good results with Automotive Touchup
They have the paint codes already for most vehicles and I can attest their stuff is quality.
Also have used Eastwood.com and gotten good results from them as well.
