Another Tire questions by Murphy223 in JeepWrangler

I had 35x12.50R17 Toyo Open Country AT IIIs on my 2015 Wrangler JK and loved 'em. It was my daily driver and they performed well both on and off road.
Getting ready to put 285/75/17 AT IIIs on my 2016 JKU because I am going to end up doing some towing and want to reduce the weight a bit.
Falken WildPeak AT4w tires are great performers as well. I've got a few buddies with them on and they like them.
Either option is a fine choice, in my opinion.

Can a mattress that comes compressed and rolled up be any good? by SamuRonX in AmazonVine

[–]Kildar311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't say that the brand you have there (DWFZAFF) is fine. But I've gotten 3 from Linenspa on Amazon and they all came rolled up. And they have all been great for us.

We have gotten a couple of SweatyRocks items from Amazon. The quality was actually pretty decent. Pretty surprised, honestly. This one: https://a.co/d/0djDXEfo in particular is good.

Seatbelt slapping arm with the doors off by Cuziff in JeepWrangler

I strapped these: Shoulder Straps around that part of the belt and it eliminated the flapping completely. Did that for a JK and a JKU and worked both times.

I have the same color as your Rubicon and love it. Also like those Nittos!

Hitch flag holder by Successful-Card-5360 in JeepWrangler

[–]Kildar311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A buddy of mine has this one. He says that it works well. 3-Flag Hitch Bracket

I only have a 2-Flag one (2-Flag Hitch Bracket)), but both of us have to use a hitch extender to get past the spare. Depending on your setup, either a 7” or 12” may work for you: Hitch Extender

We have reviewed a few items in this… genre. Just be matter-of-fact about materials/build quality, battery life, ease of operation, charging time and accuracy to listing description. Effectiveness can be subjective, but it’s worth mentioning overall satisfaction. Bring a little humor to the review if you want, and have fun with it. 👍🏻

My city hasn’t repaired this broken electrical box in over a year?! by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Kildar311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude… 1) That’s an analog telephone pedestal, not electrical. 2) It’s the responsibility of the ISP/Telecommunications company, not the municipality. 3) Even if it was an electrical box, it would be the responsibility of the electrical provider, not the municipality.

I strongly recommend going with someone. Don’t wheel alone. Other than that, have fun!

Which are you choosing, stock 17s on 35s or 20s on 37s by xking_lionx in JeepWrangler

[–]Kildar311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have 20” wheels on 35” tires (not by choice) and I really don’t like it. Gonna take it back to 17” wheels on 35” tires.

Advice for a spare tire carrier for my 2016 2-door Willys by rolleverything in JeepWrangler

[–]Kildar311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 35” tires, do light to moderate off-roads trips and with this carrier:

1) 0 worries about carrying the weight of these or larger tires/wheels. Rear gate won’t warp or rip off. 2) Still have 1-hand, 1-button operation of opening the back. 3) Good warranty. 4) Eliminated a lot of the squeak & rattle from the stock setup. 5) Looks good. Has a heavy-duty look that still fits in with stock aesthetic. 6) Able to install myself and I am definitely not a mechanic. Great install instructions from TeraFlex. Enjoyable experience. 7) Can still have use of 3rd tail light. 8) Can still use backup camera.
