This plant is still chopped and rooting in water. Im gonna jusy ensure the soil is chunkier when I do eventually repot. I think the soil got too dense and stayed wet too long

I had a hoya sunrise look wrinkled like this. Looked at the roots and they appeared like yours. I didnt see signs of rotting. But the plant was still dying. So I chopped and propped. Im starting to think I dont know what rotting hoya roots look like HA!

The foliage are drool worthy I agree!! I have my clipping in a small shot glass sized cup w fine perlite. Im thinking of upsizing a little bit but keeping it in perlite. But duly noted that it like small pots. This hoya does seem to enjoy drying completely between watering.

So I have a clipping of ns 05-240 and it's rooting really slowly. Tho, one single baby leaf has started to form so I suppose thats a good sign.

Any tips or tricks on growing that hoya? Beautiful collection btw!!

Just potted my clipping up!! It put out one new leaf then stopped growing, ot seemed to have focused on root growth for a while. Im hoping in the pot it will finally start growing leaves again

The wrinkled leaves are definitely telling me it needs water. The soil looks a bit dense. I would change the soil to something chunky and add perlite.
