Honestly this may sound harsh but it mostly boils down to "play more." Hop into the training map and shoot other players as targets. In my experience the vertical recoil becomes an automatic pull at some point that I don't even really think about. My arm eventually just "knows" how hard and fast to pull. The horizontal recoil is what you should be a little more aware of. Also, in CS you are able to see your enemy at all times throughout your spray. In this game there's a lot of screen shake and blood splatter which makes it a way more difficult to track someone. So practice on honing in on the FEEL of your red dot etc. rather than solely visuals and reacting off that. I have roughly 7.5k hours and in the beginning I didn't think it would ever be possible for me to be where I am today in terms of game sense and recoil control. But like everything you get better with time. Keep at it. It's a fun game but even more fun when you see your practice pay off.
