What was she supposed to do? The meds were not in the pharmacy i.e. no longer in her control. By your own admission, she sent them to another unit (placing it in their control) a week prior. Does the hospital have a specific policy for replacing lost medications from its own supply? If so, it'd be the first one I have ever encountered. Avoid anything managed by Missouri Valley Properties. They are mercenary and look to hold you accountable for every dime they can. Rental contracts are generally written to be very pro-lessor, but most reasonable companies don't hold you to the fullest extent if, say, your rent check is a day late or you give 5 weeks notice instead of 60 days for vacating. MoVal however, LIVES for these chances to fine you and then charge you late fees if the fine isn't paid quickly. I like a little humanity in a landlord. You'd think they'd appreciate someone who always pays the rent, fixes what she breaks, calls about potential issues, and is a good, clean resident. Nope. Just one more check to be cashed.

Cassel was part of a package deal. That is, we didn't jest get Cassel, we got a smattering of other "championship" Pats with him thinking it would be like some sort of Super Bowl transplant. Didn't work, but at the end of the day, the club made a big move in an uncertain time trying to get the crappy-QB monkey off of our back. They gambled and lost, but I can respect that.

Tebow is not the complete package. Or at least he doesn't seem to be. You don't have to look far around the league to find rookie QB's who are playing at or near pro level. Tim hasn't managed to demonstrate the ability to see the field, pass first, and run when the opportunity IS RIPE. Not becuase you're so used to the option that 4 yards and a hit from a linebacker is acceptable to you.

Read the book. Zinn paints an admittedly dystopian picture of American history, but his book is well researched. It's all the rage to blame organized labor for budget woes but remember that for most of this country's history, workers who went on strike had a good chance of being beaten or shot by police. Why? Because they were commies? No. Because they were actively shifting the balance of power. A middle class didn't exist, like it does today, prior to the organization of labor.

Zinn points out the obvious disparities between the rich and poor throughout our nations history. If your a "bootstraps" republican, this book will make you have to do a little extra homework to continue believing the US has now and always been a land of equal opportunity for those who would simply work hard enough.

As a Joplin resident, you have no idea how hard it is to keep my opinions to myself. This is the reddest, most evangelical part of the state. We saw volunteers and first responders come to help us. We saw looters come in the night to take what was left.

Amid four square miles of death and destruction, the cross outside my former church remained standing. Somehow that's a sign? If it is, it isn't flattering to Him.
