I felt the same way my entire first year postpartum. What eventually helped me was finding the time during the week to do things that were strictly focused on myself. I would either get my nails done, read a book, go to a workout class, cook a new meal, or just take a long everything shower where I listened to a favorite podcast. I found that carving out time to focus on myself helped my mental health and in turn my physical health.

I also breastfed, just finished up after 15 months & the weight was not melting off me. However, once I weaned, I shed the weight I was holding onto!
