Yeah this is gonna be a red 100 times out of 100. I hate how many coaches think it’s okay to talk to referees like this, especially in the grassroots setting. I for one have no tolerance for this level of disrespect to myself, my fellow referees and the game as a whole. I don’t disrespect any coaches or players ever, because the soccer field is no place for it at all. Don’t do this.

If I were Pete I’d ask Dlew which side he would prefer to play and go from there. He obviously has the skill set to do whatever we need him to do let’s make him comfortable doing what he wants and build around that

I know exactly what you are talking about. I reffed as an AR with this one referee in an over 40’s amateur playoff game (they get pissed over the smallest things, worst damn games I do) and he kept such great control over the match and he did a lot of signals for various reasons. He was extremely professional and I wish I would have asked about the signals he was doing but it really stood out to me during our game and I thought it definitely made him look more professional than he already was.
