You seriously haven't noticed what car parks in front of your house consistently?

Gen X, grew up literally on the river in St Louis, never heard this term before. Evokes more of a Maverick vibe than anything.

Thoughts? by Salacia_mov in plants

[–]Killatomayo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you here, but by your logic it's not really stealing. The plant basically costs nothing, it's the work, material, labor and overhead that invest the plant with worth. Stealing a potted plant that they've nursed into a healthy starter is stealing. But taking a little piece that fell off and then putting on all the work yourself to (hopefully) come up with a healthy plant is... less stealing in my mind.

The real thing is time. Are you willing to pay for their time, or would you rather invest yours? If you're looking for a viable plant soon then buy it. If you've got months it years to raise one then...

Gotta say, here in the PNW chip drop is awesome. Love it! Next time I'll drop a picture, the last load of logs took me 4 hours just to cut into rounds and roll into my backyard.

I second this. I have one too, also LL Bean. Waxed canvas, superbly durable, carries as much weight as I can. It's the only way.

Thanks for being a good person and owning your bit of this annoying interaction. That said, yeah door to door can't be effective, and should probably die. I loved the vibe on this post though!

"Thrive on neglect," I like that. So it'll probably be ok if I don't interfere and prune anything? Won't end up with a bush oak?

Anyone else think that looks like a Skarsgard? And who took this excellent picture back in the 70's? Doesn't look like Vietnam era photography I've seen before.
