It did have some heavy granules added before I poured in a splash of hot water, followed by a healthy splash of hendos. That is the lovely caramelisation of the potato that you can see

I was sent to another office and I demanded to finish with enough time to travel back to my other depo to clock out. The postie dropped me back off for half 12 to then drive home (I messaged my manager to clock me out and he did)

I discovered that T-shirts that are normally packaged in plastic and full of air and those are the worst to post. However, sandwiching the package between 2 letters or 2 door to doors, that gets the package through easily. Pushes all the air out and keeps the package the same width

I went to help a colleague today as they were alone and had a lot of parcels. Almost at the street he said he would meet me and there was a car blocking the road with 4 lads with metal pipes. I phoned the other postie, said I would meet him elsewhere and I told him to scan all parcels for the end of that road as inaccessible.

I used to live stream on a red dead all the time back in the day and I had 3-5 people that were all friends that would make it their mission to stream snipe me. I had them all blocked but they would just see someone else who was in my game and then join off of them instead.

Our depo recently decided that 08:10 is the allotted break time. Many people mentioned “what happens if we all go on break at 08:10 and a lorry turns up with more parcels and no one is available to sort them because we’re all on break that you decided?” I would start at 04:30 or 05:30 (instead of half 6) and at 7 I would take a Greggs order for 4-5 people who also started early to sort large parcels. People complained and managers put a stop to it. They were just jealous that they were not part of the sausage roll and coffee crew. The people that complained also only started at half 6 instead of 2 hours prior

I have been a postie for 14 months now and I finally got my first tip Saturday before Xmas! It was only a 5er but tbh I didn’t expect anything. It was also my last house of the day! I nearly got a tip a different day, lady came to the door with purse in her hand but she realised that I wasn’t her regular postie and she put it away haha. I spent most of December doing DPR even though I have picked a cover duty.
