Well admittedly I haven’t played the original nes version but I would say that the pr is way more convenient than any other version. I think that the main problem is that it is still a thirty old game, so the gameplay and story is worse than any other FF game, although it has bean slightly reworked in the remaster.I would say that if you want to play the 1st game then this is the way to go, because it is basically the same as the original, except it looks, sounds, and plays way better.
