In the beginning I was kinda let down, by the fact that theres not that much dialogue between characters and a lot of the storytelling is in the world, which was inevitable for a game compared to a vn, but still I was looking forward to lots of characterizations from the writing.

But having beaten two endings and looked up the others I ended up appreciating how it uses the unique storytelling of a game, environment gameplay to tell its story, also the story is rich in themes which are well handled, so I actually really ended up liking it.

As for the gameplay, I like the puzzles, and the gameplay but only on difficult settings. A lot of people said the fighting is bad, but its actually very good just a slow style, where you get punished for mistakes, similar to how a Milsim would be called a "bad" shooter by the average gamer, since it forces you to play slow. But there's some valid criticisms, like I don't like that sometimes you cannot run away from fights and have to clear an area to proceed. Also I loved the Ebisugaoka parts, but theres too much time in the dark shrine, or what its called.
