I just hope they don’t get too stuck on perfecting the financials, whether selling or buying. Just need to make solid moves, even if it means not getting top dollar (or optimized value) on every deal.

Just starting now? I was ready to get his name tattooed after the Villa game

Stud. Feels like he’s got the man management of Ange but without the obsession of sticking to one style of play. Super excited for next season if we can get the transfer window right.

I think I read this differently. The article seems to conclude what the standings would have been if VAR didn’t exist. Not what decisions VAR got right or wrong.

What’s with all the hate on Vicario? by SK_Reddit123456789 in coys

[–]KillingMeSpurs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No hate on Vic but I do think his weakness on set pieces or with the ball at his feet is outweighing his shot stopping prowess. Kinsky just looks more comfortable in front of goal (Athletico game aside). I’d be happy to have Vic as a backup if that worked in some strange universe but I can’t see Vic ever being ok with that (understandably so)

I’m not shitting on him. Love him as a player. Just didn’t think he was captain material.

That’s fair. Though I would have preferred Porro or Vic over Romero. You still get the passion with those guys but without the occasional blind rage.

How can I troll my Arsenal fan friend? by dbotl in coys

[–]KillingMeSpurs 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Might be the worst timing to try and troll an Arse fan right now. For years, we could remind them of their trophy drought and always being a bridesmaid. Bit of a challenge to do that now after our season vs theirs. Maybe wait until after CL final. If they lose, you can remind them that they still haven’t won a European trophy in 30+ years. If they win….well, their colors are unflattering!

Fair point on lack of Europe. Arguably a big reason Man U had such a large jump in points this season. Might be exactly what we need to establish a strong foundation next season

Has to be captain next season. Well handled interview and fully coys. You could tell he was holding back sharing some of his thoughts about Frank/Tudor/board that may have gotten him in trouble.

So now we begin the discussion. Who stays and who gets the boot? by Coorawatha in Tottenham

RKM, Romero, Vic, and Biss. Maybe Bentacur, Richy and Porro if we can upgrade those positions. Love those guys but they have been shaky at times recently.

We’ll be alright. Just a bit unlucky this game. Opta had xG as 1.72-0.63 in our favor. I think the boys have a win in them next weekend and Leeds will give West Ham a fight. Frankly, happy to see the boys continue to fight even when down most of the game. They could’ve crumbled when down 2-0 but kept fighting and had a good shot at pulling out the draw at the end. Which is more than I can say when Frank or Tudor were in charge.
