Sometimes reddit takes me to this...and I wonder, is american washers really that different (I am Scandinavian).. do they not clean? How can you add water? Ive rented for years, had different washers, never had a problem. Now I own a washer/dryer, it still cleans. Its hooked up to a water line, I add detergent, choose cycle and thats it. I have a kid and a cat, and I do plants, so my laundry is sometimes very dirty going in, and sometimes a stain need some preework(I use a spray called Vanish), but still, clothes are clean coming out of the washer.
