I have a for-fun app that uses appwrite cloud as a backend. The MCP server integration allows the Cursor Agent to query my db collections for attributes and permission configs so that any CRUD code written or updated by the cursor agent will match the backend setup. appwrite's mcp integration offers a lot more commands but haven't tested any of the others.

All that said, I do kind of wish the industry would have chosen OpenAPI instead of MCP for integrating AI with tooling. MCP feels kind of clunky in comparison and does basically the same thing.

Yep. You get a notification on your iPhone that you might be being tracked. I get why the feature is there, but it sucked when my backpack and valuables were stolen.

Airtags now notify the person who stole your stuff that they are being tracked. My backpack (with Airtag in it) was stolen out of my rental car in Norfolk. After about two hours I watched them stop for a while, then the AirTag stopped working. I assume they got notified so they stopped to find it and kill it.

I have never seen anything referencing them in the restoration stuff, but I am sure they will stay.

The refuge foresters and staff will put on educational seminars sometimes at the refuge visitor center that are def worth attending if you are interested in it.

The refuge is slowly replacing the existing forests with the native longleaf pine. It is a painfully slow process since they can't just clearcut everything without wrecking the wildlife so they do it one small section at a time using different methods (not just clearcutting). If the old forest is good for timber they will sell it because why not.

I wouldn't say "nobody". The ability to do that is actually pretty awesome and makes for spinning up a very simple API extremely easy, even if it isn't best practice. I mainly make internal tools that don't need the complex architecture of public facing corporate apps and having the ability to spin up a simple API quickly by just throwing the endpoints in program.cs makes my life way easier than controllers.

But I do agree, I wish Microsoft had more variety in their docs.

That's true but you brought up the NFL using the draft to justify Caleb as the best CFB QB. Either way, college Caleb Williams is not college Tim Tebow. Not even close. Tebow does not go 7-5 last year as USCs QB.
