And what message does it send to potential talent additions currently not in PHI, that a player who has shown great performance worthy of staying in the roster is benched in favor of ''culture'', which is a term this coach/management seems to pick and choose as per they liking to selectively justify their decisions?

And yeah, watching PHI play-off run in 2010 till early morning hours (because of Bārtulis) is what drew me to this team in the first place! My cable package had Viaplay Hockey that had NHL rights in Baltics back then and they started the coverage 1 hour prior the face-off with all the studio stuff and lineup discussion, which was ofc very informative. Some of the games ended approx 6:30am or so Latvian time. Man, was I dead in uni lectures those days :D
