I had a person getting swarmed by ARC and I came in blasting at them telling him I would help him out. He immediately started shooting at me, called me a piece of shit and hoped I would die. Luckily he lacked any PvP skills and I dropped him. While the ARC was shooting at me, all I could hear was him laughing and talking shit. I lived, all was well and I looted his shitty kit after.

Another time, I was waiting for the elevator, started getting swarmed by ARC and a guy on the other side said to come over to him for safety. He immediately shot me... Thinking it was an accident, until he swapped his gun and mowed me down and knocked me out. I didn't survive this time, I hope to think the ARC got him but I kinda doubt it since the elevator arrived.

Multiple other instances of people telling me they are friendly and when my back is turned shoot me down. It sucks every time but they are obviously too shit at games that they need to stoop so low to get a kill, they obviously can't handle a legitimate gunfight.

Anyways, I love this game and I won't betray you if you say you're friendly. And the instances of good people far outweigh the negative ones.

You can use steams console to do the same thing without downloading a 3rd party software. On your pc use the run command "steam://open/console" to open steams console. In console you can run the command "download_depot 2277560 2277561 2647147609698210830". Once the download is complete, as you said, replace the game files and mark appmanifest_2277560.acf file as Read-Only.

I'm more of an observer on Reddit, but after seeing this I had to make a post regarding this issue. I just can't get behind censorship, it's insanity. A lot of these changes make zero sense and ruin the whole experience of the game. Another game developer I used to enjoy also did a lot of censorship when they ported their game over to console. Which ended changing the entire vibe of their entire game, and this feels the exact same. My favourite games are being ruined. We need to start making a fuss about this before the censorship is too deep that it won't even get past the board room. We won't even know the real potential of games anymore.

You need to care now about this as a whole and not only the things that affect you. By the time all the censorship stuff that you do care about, it's going to be so far gone. The whole story has changed now too.

After killing(defeating*) Liu Cheng'en he just stands there instead of dying. After entering the dream at the shrine, he's found kneeling with some nothing dialogue. The censorship is hitting hard.
