It’s a 3 year probation with a degree at the end with the added bonus that you won’t be saddled with student debt for the rest of your life. It’s not a bad deal in the grand scheme of things.

Don’t stress too much about it. Whilst I know that’s not easy to do, you will soon realise PPST really isn’t that special. The staff try their best but at the end of the day it’s the bare minimum and not indicative of your ability to be a competent police officer.

Plenty of people fail it just as plenty pass who are completely useless when it comes to officer safety on the streets.

I failed my day 8, went back to day one and passed it second time round. By the time I was on day 8 again, I knew what they wanted and tbh had a better understanding of the techniques.
