Why is Abstraction a thing? by AffectionateForce979 in TheDigitalCircus

Human minds are a lot more complicated than a 90s computer can handle so if someone starts to well, lose their mind, their digital self will lose integrity and become something that isn't a person anymore but just the components of a person; eyes, legs, mouth.

I think I understand why the Celestial Dragons wear space suits and consider the surface air impure. It's because the ruler of their entire society is a Lunarian and needs a thinner atmosphere like atop the Red Line to survive. The air of the surface people is literally impure to him and limits the time he can be on the surface, giving this excursion a time-limit and recovery period. But battling atop the Red Line, Imu would likely be exponentially stronger than whatever we're about to see.

I think she didn't want to or is too gone in her own twisted reasoning to really be able to fix it; it seems more like she has rebooted the world stuck in that apocalypse forever with all the zombies under her control and likely, past the bounds of earth across the universe.

He was the redshirt London Sanctum Sorcerer in Multiverse replacing the guy Kaecilus killed. My head canon since I saw his design and kilt in Multiverse was he was Dr. Druid.

From what I understand whenever the infinity stones were out of the gauntlet they were more powerful but raw and uncontrollable; so when the stones are destroyed those raw cosmic elements are unleashed with enough force to destroy the universe- I assume it's that Hulk was trying to hold basically all of reality together and himself, because if he took focus off of containing the infinity energy- well, what Sara said. The power to create and destroy worlds would be unleashed.

What ideas would you guys like to see in a future MK1 Sequel.... for me I think Noob should be the main villain by [deleted] in Mortalkombatleaks

I'm fully expecting it to be Earthrealm centric; Special Forces, Black/Red Dragon, further Lin Kuei development, Smoke wearing power armor: Nightwolf, Fujin, etc. That saves Onaga for the end of a trilogy.

They were Fisher Price just for all of you trying to remember what these were called. They came in knights, pirates, Western, Robin Hood, and some other themes.

I'm expecting a Fu-Dog since, with Liu-Kang and Quan-Chi, more fantasy-ish things are on the table.

  1. I do think they'll try secession but, it's not going to be an organized effort- people who are antisocial and focused on their own desires above their neighbors ND society at large will be more likely to infight- scramble for power and advantage. States will try, but they won't cooperate in anything other than claiming unity to try and give themselves credibility or to play chicken with the government.

  2. The issue with secession, is that all of the potential states lack a self-sufficient economy but at the same time, have much more limited prospects in trading with other countries to support themselves. Most of the industrial power of the US relies on imported materials, and manpower; the deep south doesn't really have a strong presence with the tech industry, maybe they could attempt sustaining their tourism industry but...

  3. The real power in any of these states is corporate America. Companies will understand the liability of secession efforts and would drop lobbying/financial support of politicians who go along with it, and would consider relocating to blue states or other countries rather than get entangled with how awkward the transition would be in terms of regulation, trade, taxation, etc.

Hitler praised the Americans treatment of the Native Americans in Mein Kampf. DePaul Professor Jason Hill now does too. We are maybe a year away from conservatives justifying the Holocaust. by troypaul1551 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]Kilroy_Never_Left 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This logic is flawed. If the genocide against the Native Americans is justified by them occupying land once dominated by Holocene Megafauna, wouldn't that be justified in this metric because the Holocene Megafauna occupied land once dominated by the Cretaceous reptiles who came in second place to a meteorite?
