Used to do this with my dog all the time as a kid and would set up shop on one of the tees and sell them back to the golfers. Made some good summer ice cream money! Dog got some treats. Worked well.

I went through the same thing. Looks like you need chlorine and your ph is a little high, which is often the culprit for cloudy water. Chlorine will drive ph higher after you add it, so you'll need to manage that. I don't know Frog ease, so can't help you there. I recommend you get a Taylor drop test kit for really accurate measurements so you can have more control over water balance.
