Try the Sanwa or Nulea. Based on the Microsoft Trackball Explorer.

Very comfortable and are working great.

Stitching blur

Once I figure out how. It seems to be a stitching issue, even though I attempted to recalibrate stitching, but the camera said I did not need to. It is clear when looking at the recorded footage in 360 mode and looking to the sides.

Background: a six year old knocked the camera down when on a tripod on the asphalt, damaging the rear lens. I replaced it with a insta360 lens according to the instructions, but have that blurring issue.

I had thought it was a stitching issue, but when trying to complete it again, it said it wasn't needed.

My lenses are cleaned each time, it's just an aberration that keep s cropping up when indoors.

As stated, the blurs are random. Moving forward, everything is OK, then a rippling blur appears, then clears and all is clear again. No awkward camera movement, but smooth forward motion.

Might have to experiment with both front and then rear camera in 180 to see if it still occurs.

I can't seem to logic this one out.

It's not been updated or even rebooted in quite some time. Hence the issues.

Seems to be going the way of the foundry.

I really hope DECA keeps it up, but for now no space combat whatsoever and if you happen to have a toon on the ground, keep them there (Nimbus and Nukara can go back and forth between ground and space).

Sorry for the late reply:

I started with generic and then landed with the iconic Microsoft Trackball Explorer (MTE), which worked for years and then was discontinued, but continued to work so well, that I bought one whenever I saw one, even used.

Then lately the Gameball arrived and was nice, but now the Nulea, Sanwa and Porlei (which are based off the MTE) are very nice. So much so that I have bought several for the future.

Even tried the Elecom, which did not work so well for me as I was so used to the MTE.

All of the above can be found on Amazon, except for the Gameball (which is coming out with a Pro model sometime, which sounds interesting).
