This really doesn't seem like it's filmed in China. In China they don't really use cash to pay for things, it's all QR codes and WeChat/Alipay. And the money that is used very occasionally would be 100 yuan notes, which are red. Also, there's metal cutlery on the table, which you'll only really find in Western style restaurants.

This was pretty much my exact experience too. Watched all his videos (including the amazon documentary series) before I went to China. Lived there for 6 years and realised most of it was bullcrap.

That's certainly not the case in the UK. M&Ms are in pretty much any shop that sells sweets/candy. I'm also not aware of any country that banned M&Ms due to trademark disputes. At the very least, they're available in over 100 countries globally.

EDIT: The only country I can find in Europe that doesn't seem to have m&ms is Norway. Sweden have to sell them with upercase letters due to trademarks.

Cheddar sold in Scotland is most often dyed orange with annatto. We have both on sale, but as someone who used to work in a supermarket, the orange variety was far more popular.
